Learning About Healing

Jesus purchased your healing with the stripes on His back. That means your healing is not guaranteed by your faith, but by His action. In other words, the price has already been paid!

You may have come here desperate, hoping for a cure to end your pain. Maybe you’re searching for the key to your healing and trying to figure out what you need to do to experience wholeness. Or maybe this is your first attempt to take God at His word in hopes that, just maybe, He will come through.

Whatever the case, it’s no accident that you’re here. We want you to find comfort in knowing that Jesus Christ secured your healing thousands of years ago and He is faithful to deliver on His promise. He knew the day would come when you would need a special touch from Him. He knew that you wouldn’t be able to fix or heal your problems on your own. He knew that you would need His strength, and so He made a way just for you.

Today, we want to encourage you to know that your healing is here. Begin to “call that which is not, as though it were.” (Romans 4:17) It’s time to take God at His Word, and while you wait, here are a few things you can do:

1. Meditate and Declare
Focus on and confess the promises below over your situation. The Bible says we should “be transformed by the renewing of our minds” so that we can begin to think and see our circumstances the way God does. Equally important, is speaking life over every struggle you face. In Proverbs, we read that the “tongue has the power of life and death,” which makes it critical for us to use our words to agree with what God says and apply that to our circumstances. These tools will not only make a physical impact, they can provide emotional healing as well.

  • Isaiah 53:5
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
  • Psalm 107:19-21
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
  • Psalm 91:9-11
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
  • Matthew 15:30
Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.

2. Call and Pray
If you’re battling sickness, a debilitating injury, or even emotional wounds, you don’t have to carry that burden anymore. In fact, the biggest lie you could believe is that you’re alone in the fight. The truth is that God wants to act on your behalf, and often times, prayer is the key! Mathew 18:19 says that when two or more agree in prayer, God moves to bring about a result. Today, you can release God’s power by calling our toll free prayer line at 1-800-329-0029 or visiting Daystar.com/Prayer to send us a request. Together, we’ll activate our faith and believe God to overcome the impossible.

4. Share and Encourage
The Bible says that we overcome the enemy by “the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.” (Revelation 12:11) That’s why it’s so important to share your story. Oftentimes God moves mountains in our lives so that we can encourage others to believe Him for their needs as well. In 2 Corinthians, Paul writes that God comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can extend that same comfort to someone else. (2 Corinthians 1:4)

At Daystar, we’re standing in faith with you to see restoration take place in your mind, body, and heart. The most important thing you can do when facing any challenge is trust God in spite of what you see, think, or hear. He made you and He knows how to care for your every need! In fact, He promises to work “all things for the good of those who love Him.” (Romans 8:28)

As God answers your prayers, we want to rejoice with you! Be sure to let us know how He’s moving in your life to bring healing to those areas where it’s needed most. We know that “faith comes by hearing” (Romans 10:17) and your testimony may be just what someone else needs to believe God for more.
